We're lucky to have great support from ongoing "sponsors", ( actually "friends" ) of the TS in addition to awesome Race Directors and all of you running in the races, but we've received the nicest offer of support from Pat at Granite Sports! Pat came to run in some races last year and well, evidently, he had fun! Our thanks to GS for signing on as a big cheese ( yeah, we'll have to come up with a fancy name... ) sponsor - we're excited about growing the BHRC Trail Series! So, a shout out is in order. If you haven't been to Granite Sports in Hill City, check it out - great outdoor gear & just cool stuff.

We're super excited to have had Trail Runner magazine include more TS races in their Trophy Series - Woo Hoo ! Paul's Sundance race has been included in past years and now another chance (or two) to run in the 2013 TR Trophy Series will be the Victoria Secret Dirty Half  & the Crow Peak Ascent - we're thrilled.
 Did we say how excited we are?! 
We'll be posting the "official" Trophy Series info soon. Basically, run one and you're in...Anywhere in the world.
 
 
 
 
 PLEASE NOTE: In the event of inclement weather or unforeseen trail conditions the BHRC will post any updates or cancellations on our Facebook page. The BHRC reserves the right to delay, cancel or reschedule any race. There will be no refunds in the event of a race cancellation due to weather or events beyond our control.

2013 Centennial Trail Run Schedule

* Check group emails/Fb postings as the schedule may have altered due to weather.

8:00 April 20 Rapid Creek to Pilots Knob Trail Head. 9 miles.

8:00 April 27 Pilots Knob to Dalton Lake. 14 miles.

8:00 May 4 Dalton Lake Trail head to Elk Creek Trail head 12.5 miles.

11:00  May 12 (SUNDAY) Elk Creek to Alkali creek Trail head. 12 miles.

 
11:00 May 19 (SUNDAY) Alkali Creek Trail head to the top of Bear Butte trail head. 13 Miles. *Not including trek to the top of Bear Butte.  

All runs on Saturday with 4 exceptions. Mar 17, April 7, May 12 and May 19 runs on Sunday.  Time shown is leave time from West Side Family Thrift. Run times will be about 9:00 for each run.
All abilities welcome to join in on these runs. Walkers encouraged to participate. There are many places where we run through Trail Heads where participants could shorten their run, or an out and back could  be undertaken to shorten distance and facilitate vehicle shuttle.
